  NASHVILLE (BP) -- American Protestant churchgoers say God is on their mind throughout their day in both intentional and impromptu moments. The 2019 Discipleship Pathway Assessment study from LifeWay Research identified seeking God as one of eight signposts of spiritual maturity.

  About 2 in 3 Americans who regularly attend a Protestant church (67 percent) disagree with the statement: "Throughout many of my activities I don't think about God," with 40 percent strongly disagreeing. Read More

  WAKE FOREST, N.C. (BP) -- Eugene Smith Sr., affectionately known as "Mr. Eugene" around Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, died Aug. 11 at the age of 92. He had been a beloved facilities employee for nearly 40 years.

  BIRMINGHAM, Ala.(BP) – "Missions Journey: Students" is Woman's Missionary Union's new digitally-formatted resource designed to provide ongoing missions discipleship curriculum for all student groups and to empower them to discover their own roles as disciples of Jesus who live on mission.

  "Missions Journey is a completely digital format that is video driven, easy-to-use, and requires minimal leader preparation," said Heather Keller, WMU's student ministry consultant.   BIRMINGHAM, Ala.(BP) -- Misiones para Todos (Missions for All) is Woman's Missionary Union's new, bilingual digital resource for missions leaders in Hispanic churches.

  "This resource is the result of much research and great collaboration with Hispanic leaders as we sought to identify missions needs among Hispanic congregations," said Kristy Carr, senior hub manager, national WMU. "We assembled a task force comprised of a Hispanic pastor and Hispanic leaders around the country who work with various ages in a variety of cultural contexts.
